components as other youth entrepreneur programs, but it also possesses many components that will make it a unique program, therefore making it stand out above the rest. We are not asking for a hand out, we are asking for a hand up so that we can inspire and help our young participants to step up and reach their goals of becoming business leaders in our communities. All of you remember your beginning and all the hard work it entailed. You may have been like me and had no one to really help you realize your dream of becoming who you are right now.
The ten-week program is divided into five modules. Each module is divided into difference areas of business topics such as business management and writing a business plan. A team of experts in their various fields teach at least two areas of business within the ten-week program. There are at least four to five instructors for the program. Volunteers and mentors are asked to assist participants with certain learning tasks according to their expertise and areas of interest. We also have business motivational speakers come in (at least two to three) to encourage and inspire our participants.
