MARRIAGE AND RELATIONSHIPS

with someone.

2. Have you been spending more or less time together? I’ve seen many couples try to get married to fix a failing relationship. Instead of breaking up, the two of them decide to be MORE together by tying the knot. But relationships that are naturally progressing always lead to more time together, not less. Either you’re moving closer together or drifting apart.

3. What will marriage bring you that you don’t already have now? Marriage is an awesome opportunity for two people to share their lives together. But if there is no real benefit for the two of you to get married, why do it? Do you want security or the benefit of his strengths in your life? If you can’t say for sure what would be better by being married, odds are you’re thinking of marriage to gain the approval of others.

So, when IS the right time to talk about marriage? When you both spend so much time together and enjoy it so much that it just makes sense to share your lives together.

When you consistently make plans to do things together, you’ve already begun to share your lives together. Marriage is just a way to say “Let’s keep living like this forever."
