example of someone persevering through difficult life circumstances is Job in the Old Testament. This man lost practically everything and yet he still stayed faithful to God. I find this type of devotion is inspirational and encouraging when it feels as if God has left my side, but this example reminds me that my God is exactly the same in all seasons. Throughout Job’s perseverance in the Lord, he became mature and complete, not lacking anything.
In the end, we are not meant to live a life that is filled with depression and heartache when we endure the trials that life brings us. It is how we lean on God during difficult times that determines our quality of life. “The testing of our faith produces perseverance.” Stay faithful!
