THE SPIRIT IN YOU

".... but the date of the fashion show is on the three year anniversary that I tried to commit suicide."

extremely humbling but He did not stop there. A few days after that photo shoot, I was putting everything that I had planned for the winter/spring in my planner. This fall I booked a runway show in a different city in January. I had not realized it at the time that I booked it, but the date of the fashion show is on the three year anniversary that I tried to commit suicide. Additionally, within a short time frame after I had tried to commit suicide, God began revealing to me that I was called to go into the entertainment industry and be a light for Him.

Earlier, I shared that I am frequently on the road. In the past six months, I have probably added 10,000 miles on my car if not more. I am not exaggerating when I

say that I basically live out of my vehicle. It has felt pointless to be driving all of the time when there are so many lost souls. But I’ve found that there is beauty in the time that I sometimes feel that I am wasting because I have learned how to appreciate the time that I have been given to do the work that He has given me to do on a deeper level. As an individual who never enjoyed driving, this aspect has pushed me to try to enjoy the ride in the mundanes of life. I have been challenged to take time to pray for those who are in the entertainment industry and for the other missionaries who are in the realms of the modeling, music, acting, and dance industry. Additionally, I take time to ask God to give me continued discernment. Lastly, I take the time to embrace each second, because no matter how we view the essence of time, it will always be fleeting and it’s how we use it to glorify God that matters.
