Greetings everyone,
We will be celebrating our one-year anniversary very soon on October 19. It was at our fabulous WOW Event that this phenomenal publication was launched. A lot of hard work, sacrifices and prayer have gone into this magazine, and we are anticipation many more years of bringing this great magazine onto your digital devices. We want to personally thank all our supporters through subscription, sponsorship, and adverting. If it were not for you, we would not have been able to put out the quality publication that we produce. My entire staff and writers thank you.
In this issue, you will see some memorable photos of our past event and we are going to introduce in the upcoming issues what will be happening in our October WOW Event. I would like you to get as excited as we are about this program. It will be bigger and better; you will be WOWED! I am excited about where we are going as an organization and this upcoming event will help make that happen. The upcoming event will leave you feeling like you have partaken of something that will inspire change and hope in our community. We invite you to join us for this transformational even that you will find impactful, empowering, entertaining and of course, don’t forget the great food.
We also hope you enjoy the articles in this issue, again with great conviction and much thoughtfulness; each writer is bringing to you their best. I cannot begin to express how elated I am that we have such commitment and talent that has chosen to write for our reading audience. I even asked my 13-year-old granddaughter if we could use one of her drawings for the cover of the magazine. You see, there is room for much unique expression in our publication.
