Discover Coastal Alabama Winter/Spring 2019 - Page 55

Fun-Raisers Our Alabama Coasting responsibilities provide us opportunities to travel around our great state, and in doing so we have confirmed that ‘coasting’ is not just a geographic term. Rather it is a an approach to living that celebrates Family, Friends and Food. And what better evidence is there than the many wonderful, important FUN-Raisers held every weekend. In the Mobile area, our friends at The Mobile Run Down (www.themobilerundown.com) produce a weekly email newsletter to ‘keep you in the know of what’s happening around town.’ Of course Visit Mobile as well as the other five partners under the Visit Coastal Alabama flag (www.visitcoastalalabama.org) are also great resources for what’s happening in their community.
