There’s also de- licious paninis and incredible appetizers, including a housemade hummus platter and pretzel platter with beer cheese. The space is ever-expanding, said event coordinator Layne Carpenter. For starters, the distillery has added a large sitting area with a fi replace as well as a foosball table, giant Jenga and a sand shuffl eboard table. On weekends, the bar offers live music. Each week OBD offers either a Ladies Night on Wednesdays or a Gentlemen’s Night on Tuesdays — with half-priced cocktails for each group. There’s also upcoming Pulp & Pine and trivia nights. And along with bar-centric events, Oakley Brothers’ is working to become a space for events like high school reunions, holiday parties and even baby showers. “We want people to know our space is available to use for just about anything,” Carpenter said.
