Interview With

joseph christian Whats good brother, thank you for the opportunity to interview you. Tell us a little about who you are and what style music you consider yourself. And how did your stage name come into existence? doc nuece No problem bro ,thanks for havin me. Ill start off by sayin my music,to me, is hip hop with some influence of the music i grew up on and the raw emotion of how i was raised, because growin up in between new york and pennsylvania i heard a lot of rock/punkrock and rap and i saw how these rock guys and punk rock guys showed their emotion through not only just tone of their voice but also tone of instruments. That is a big reason i mix it up on my tracks. and the name Doc Nuece was originally Dr.Noose and its because before the rappin n spittin i was all about poetry writing. A lot of the stuff i was producing was dark and twisted because of my situations growing up and feelings towards humanity or whatever cuz we both know how kids like to rebel n go through an awkward stage. Well ,i showed one of my friends and he always read them and the one day he said"This is like a sick twisted DR Seuss....your writing name should be Dr noose" n i laughed it up but since that day thats what he called me.but when i started makin music it was with a kid we called the paper boy , n when he got signed he changed his name ,y'all might know him As "AK"the Atracity Killa. well when he left that label we started our own n since it was like my second

form of self expression i changed the spelling for originality purposes to Nuece n shortened Dr to Doc cuz thats what ppl called me anyway.joseph christian What was the first Hip Hop song that you can remember hearing and in what way did that song influence you? doc nuece Damn...thats takin me way back...let me see....i remember listening to House of Pain "Shamrocks and Shenanigans"n that was when i was real young cuz my dad loved em n i was hooked man. And i would have to say i was so young i dont know how it influenced me then but like eminem wasnt until what 2000 somethin n white rappers before them werent nearly as raw n i guess it influenced me as i got older to be comfortable to be a white boy rappin. Even though im half Puerto Rican ...people always referred to me as a white boy.
