One of the priorities of the Commercial Office of Peru in India is to serve as the facilitator for business between Peruvian exporters and Indian importers . In other words , we placed at the international stage , especially considering the present trend towards the consumption of nutrient rich food .
Peruvian exportable products are aimed at large international markets like India . It is important to mention the popularity these health foods are acquiring , as demonstrated by our export figures , showing a steep growth in the demand of the Peruvian Superfoods like quinoa , grapes , cocoa bean , etc .
Trends related to the consumption of healthy food are a result of the evolving preferences of the urban Indian consumer . Peruvian Superfoods will continue to remain popular and do well for the same reason . The preference for these products is also due to the international fame which Peruvian gastronomy has acquired in the recent years . Many big Indian importers have shown deep interest in staple Peruvian ingredients . The Commercial Office in India will continue with its efforts to showcase a range of our products and their advantages .
