FRONTAL LIGHT
This is the illumination where the light source is behind the observer, i.e. camera. Most often is seen
in photos taken with the built-in flash and is generally not attractive if the light source is sharp there are always exceptions, and in some situations very attractive images can be created with this
lighting by using soft, diffused light. This type of lighting is often used in fashion photography. Frontal light is not good for showing the form and structure because the shadows are almost
non-existent. The result is that objects may have no depth and plasticity.
This is precisely why this type of light setup is ideal for certain subjects because it hides wrinkles and depressions well, and is often used in fashion and portrait photography or when shooting
commercial products.

Sharp frontal light gives »paparazzo« look - rough and unattractive. But, with only a small movement of the light from the main axis of the camera, you can get beautiful modeling as in this case.
