GMUNK recently created a video for house music DJ and producer Eric Prydz. The video Generate is a visual and lightning celebration. The creator described the concept of the video as »the quiet pulse of a single sound wave building upon itself until it becomes a giant wall of resonance; or a single pinprick of light getting brighter and brighter until it blooms in a blinding, allencompassing glow.” The camera takes us on a neverending journey through the spiraling glitter cubes. Utilizing different lenses and lens filters, cubes transform into circles. The huge geometric structure bends back and forth before our eyes. There is no narrative plot in the video, except it is all about light, with camera rigs pushing through the cubes and hanging from the ceiling, depicting the glittery, surreal world of industrial LED architecture. Visually stunning, the Generate video discovers the beauty in simplicity. Vivid colors, lasers, and the camera rolling horizontally and vertically give us the sensation of lightning, but also a mind-bending roller coaster ride.
