This subject matter is so vast and important that we can only scratch the surface. In the March issue you will find our editorial about the use of light in photography, and numerous exciting artists who make light the focus of their artistic work. Yet, due to time constraints, we were not able to deal with issues of light in other design fields, in 3D animation, film and illustration. Our original plan was to focus on and tackle another important expressive tool in art and design in this issue. Because we have such a huge volume of material we have prepared for both topics, in the next issue you may read about PATTERNS, or you may read Part 2 about light… or we may decide to publish a mixed issue dealing with both important topics. It all depends on our mood and inspiration at the time. One thing is for sure, either way we are preparing several new issues and each will be a sure-fire treat for the eye… and maybe for some other senses, too. Wait and see!
