kinds of elements and components: earth, hair,
mechanics, trees, flowers…. By deforming them
and sculpting images from them I create an
entirely different object. So I gather together all
these different methods in order to get a final
work, printed on a specific, fascinating matte
black coated paper.
Q: Your art is based on a black and white
world. Is it a process in your creative work to
exclude a range of colors and that your work
is based on a black and white environment?
What is your experience of the color
spectrum?
I’m a fan of black and white, it retains a timeless
and mysterious allure and continues to ask the
viewer to reflect, unlike colours, which change
and die with the years and changing fashions.
Q: How does it feel to be a part of creating a
new world of modern art?
How do you see today’s modern art (design,
illustration, etc.)?
I am just using today’s creative tools. If
Michelangelo had been able to use a graphic
palette, he surely would have! →
