his is Nicolas Obéry. He is an art
director and digital illustrator based
in Paris, France. His latest artwork
’’Fantasmagorik’’ is a series of 3D digital
portraits of pop icons and celebrities. Inspired
by surrealism, Nicolas uses black and white
technique to create unique digital collages.
He incorporates various elements he finds
inspirational and then sculpts a completely new
image out of them. Nicolas relies on today’s
creative tools in his postproduction.
We talked to Nicolas about his art, inspiration,
work process, plans for the future… and here is a
glimpse of Nicolas’ surreal world.
