Sr . Faustina also wrote on being favored to witness , the “ fullness ” of the truth that Jesus Himself is the Sacred Host . On one of these occasions , while immersed in deep prayer , she was “ transported in spirit to the chapel , where ( she ) saw … in reality … the Lord Jesus , exposed in the monstrance . In place of the monstrance … the glorious Face of the Lord ” ( Diary , # 1420 ). And , Jesus told her , “ What you see in reality , these souls see through faith . Oh , how pleasing to Me is their great faith ! You see , although there appears to be no trace of life in Me , in reality , it is present in its fullness in each and every Host . But for Me to be able to act upon a soul , the soul must have faith . O how pleasing to Me is living faith ! ( Diary , # 1420 ).

( Diary , # 237 ): Sr . Faustina wrote in her Diary on spending an “ hour of Adoration ” of the Lord , but felt insignificant and in great misery . Yet , by faith , she knew that Jesus welcomed her presence and embraced her unworthiness , which emboldened her to believe that she had a “ right ” to His Mercy . She wrote in her Diary , “ During this hour of Adoration , I saw the abyss of my misery ; whatever there is of good in me is Yours , O Lord . But because I am so small and wretched , I have a right to count on Your boundless mercy .”
( Diary , # 1062 ): Sr . Faustina ’ s Hour of Adoration was spent thanking God for Himself and for His many blessings , especially for the “ great grace ” of her “ illness .” She also petitioned God to “ compensate ” her benefactors for the cost of helping her :
I made an Hour of Adoration in thanksgiving for the graces , which had been granted me and for my illness . Illness also is a great grace … I do not recall having wasted so much as a minute of it . All has been for God and for souls ; I want to be faithful to Him everywhere … I realized the utter care and goodness that Jesus has been lavishing upon me and the protection He has given me against all evil . I thank You especially Jesus , for visiting me in my solitude … also for inspiring my superiors to send me for this treatment . Give them , Jesus , the omnipotence of
