But, at the same time, she also felt that her physical strength was declining. At the end of the Holy Mass, Sr. Faustina felt very weak; thus, she went back to her cell. She then also missed going to the convent’s “community tea.” Yet, she was feeling continuous great joy because she was “unceasingly united with the Lord.” She then came to understand that, “Every soul would like to have divine comforts, but is by no means willing to forsake human comforts, whereas these two things cannot be reconciled.” 154
