Cornflower Drops Materials 2 gold-plated diamond bases 1 pair gold-plated earring wires 2 5x10mm silver shade crystal teardrops 40cm 22-gauge gold-plated wire 2 12mm blue cabochons Tools Flat-nose pliers Round-nose pliers Wire cutters E6000 glue To make Glue a cabochon into the centre of one diamond setting and leave to dry. Cut the wire in half. Take one length of wire and thread on one crystal teardrop, positioning it at the middle point of the wire. Bend each side of the wire up around the end of the teardrop, wrapping one wire around the other to secure the teardrop. Trim the wrapped wire end. With the other wire end, make a loop and thread on to one corner loop of one diamond setting, then wrap the wire onto the original wrapped section. Trim any excess wire. Open the loop of one earring wire and thread on to the opposite edge loop of the same diamond setting. Close the loop. Repeat to make the other earring.
