11 12 Step 11 Repeat Steps 8, 9 and 10 to make the second butterfly wing (Photo 11). Step 12 Cut out the shape of your butterfly, being sure not to snip any threads (Photo 12). Use simple stacked stitch to make two butterfly antennas – working in a sequence of one (A) bead, one (B) bead, one (A) bead, one (B) bead, one 3mm pearl and one (A) bead. Repeat the same bead sequence for the second antenna (Photo 12a). 12a Step 13 Attach your brooch pin back at the back side of the brooch. Cut two small holes in your ultra-suede to cover the back side of the butterfly and let the brooch pin pass through the two holes. Cut out the shape of your butterfly (Photo 13). The next step will be easier if you use small amount of glue to attach the beading foundation to the Ultrasuede. 13
