4 Lane Elimination Race set
The Hot Wheels 4 Lane Elimination Race track is a super fun playset by Mattel. Four cars line up at the starting line. As they race down the track they merge down to two cars and then to one car, leaving only the winner to cross the finish line. One thing that is cool is that cars don't get stuck or wedged into the track where it merges, because just before the merge the leading car triggers a latch and a flap flies up in the lane next to it and throws the car off the track. This happens twice, first to eliminate two cars so there are two left, and then a second time to eliminate one car so there is one left. The elimination mechanism is what makes this track so much fun for kids and adults alike.
