I found myself in Walmart, as I quite often do, looking at cars when I saw this 2016 Matchbox 75th Anniversary Jeep set on the shelf. I don't’ know if Walmart just found some old boxes in the back or what, but it was meant to be. This set was calling to me. In a couple of weeks I would be in Oregon on vacation and I couldn't think of any better cars to take with me and photograph. Eight Jeeps in the great Pacific Northwest . You bet that set ended up in my cart.

But even without the photo opportunity that was coming up, this set was definitely worth getting. The detail on these jeeps is pretty good for a buck. And the mix of models is great. There’s the Jeep Willys 4x4, the Jeep Hurricane, the Jeep Willys, the 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, the Jeep Wrangler Superlift, the 1943 Jeep Willys, the 1998 Jeep Wrangler, and the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Definitely my favorite in this set is the 1998 Jeep Wrangler. To me nothing says Jeep like the classic Wrangler. The front and rear detail on the Cherokee Trailhawk is fantastic. One thing I love about this set is that several of them are packing stuff on the top, including the Grand Cherokee hauling a boat on the top. This set definitely captures everything that we love about Jeeps!
