America’s 6 Greatest Presidents
Thursday, October 3, Noon Luncheon, $15
Presenter: Gary Midkiff
Six men stand above all others and deserve the adjective
“greatest”. What makes them great is the way they responded
to the challenges they faced. They weren’t afraid to change
their positions, or of others disagreeing with them, and they
each had a clear vision of how to make our country better. Join
Professor Gary Midkiff for mini-biographies of each of these
men and learn who deserves the title “The Greatest”.
Sponsored by Lake Forest Place
Thursday, September 26, Noon Luncheon

Presenter: Bill Davis
Artist and professor Bill Davis has worked on six continents
and is 35 years into his photography career. He will share No
Dark in Sight, a project that conveys how artificial light is used
to manage society. The night sky is getting brighter, the planet
is growing weaker, and the biosphere is facing accelerated
extinction by the pollutive colonization of the night by artificial
light. His presentation will share where, how, and why light
pollution matters.
