National Voter Registration Day
The Poker Club
Tuesday, September 24, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Dickinson Hall is partnering with the League of Women
Voters - Lake Forest/Lake Bluff area to provide voter
registration. If you need to register for the first time, or if
you have moved and need to update your registration,
this would be an opportunity to take care of a very
important matter and be ready for the November
elections. A deputy registrar will be available to answer
your questions or complete the forms.
Dickinson Hall
Artists Art Show
September 12-18
Come to Northern Trust Bank in Lake Forest to see a
stunning art exhibit by our very own Dickinson Hall
watercolor artists. All are invited on Thursday, September
12 from 5:30 - 7:00 pm for a wine and hors d’oeuvres
opening reception to meet the Dickinson Hall artists and
view their original paintings.
FREE PERMANENT
ILLINOIS ID
When you get your driver’s license
renewed, take a bit of extra time to get a
State ID. It’s free for those over 65, never
expires and if you stop driving you will
already have it when your bank, lawyer or doctor’s office
requests it. Valid ID is required for plane travel. It’s easy
to get when you have a current driver’s license, and
harder without - so ask and apply.
Woodlands Garden Club
Wednesday, October 2, 10:00 am
Join the Woodlands Garden Club at Dickinson
Hall for a floral demonstration. Arrangements
will be raffled off to those buying tickets at the
end of the presentation. Coffee and snacks will
be available.
