Adventures Mary Poppins, Drury Lane Theatre Wednesday, January 15, 10:30 am, $85/$95 Non-Members Mary Poppins flies to the stage to deliver whimsy, excitement, and memorable songs to a story that will melt your heart. Nominated for seven Tony Awards and winner of the Olivier Award for Best Theatre Choreography. Based on the Academy Award-winning film of the same name and the beloved children’s books by P.L. Travers, Mary Poppins is an entertaining adventure of enchantment and fun. Lunch entrees are Bistro Steak or Roast Turkey and Stuffing, which is included. There are so many pieces they decided to build a museum to house and display them. Come with us to the Halim Time & Glass Museum. Located in Evanston, this wonder houses over 1,100 timepieces and over 70 stained glass pieces of art. The building is five stories tall and is filled with history, art and the study of time. We will stop at Farmhouse Evanston for lunch before heading home. (Substantial walking) Meet new friends and enjoy a meal together as you revisit an old favorite or try something new!
