Mary Poppins, Drury Lane Theatre

Mary Poppins flies to the stage to deliver whimsy, excitement,
and memorable songs to a story that will melt your heart.
Nominated for seven Tony Awards and winner of the Olivier
Award for Best Theatre Choreography. Based on the Academy
Award-winning film of the same name and the beloved
children’s books by P.L. Travers, Mary Poppins is an
entertaining adventure of enchantment and fun. Lunch entrees
are Bistro Steak or Roast Turkey and Stuffing, which is
included. Please make your selection when you register.

Payment must be made within 3 days to secure your
reservation. Credits for cancellations will only be issued if we
can fill the opening from a wait list. All trips leave from Dickinson
Hall unless otherwise noted. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to
departure time. Meal costs are not included unless noted. Come

Gourmet Trotters
Halim Time & Glass Museum
Tuesday, November 5, 10:15 am, $35/$45 Non-Members
One suburban man and his family are passionate about time.
There are so many pieces they decided to build a museum to
house and display them. Come with us to the Halim Time &
Glass Museum. Located in Evanston, this wonder houses over
1,100 timepieces and over 70 stained glass pieces of art. The
building is five stories tall and is filled with history, art and the
study of time. We will stop at Farmhouse Evanston for lunch
before heading home. (Substantial walking)
Meet new friends and enjoy a meal together as you revisit an
old favorite or try something new! We welcome your
recommendations. Transportation is $10; meal is “Dutch treat.”

Step back in time and experience the tropical ambiance and
traditional cuisine of Havana as it was in the ‘50s. Indulge on
specially prepared dishes of marinated meats, such as Ropa
Vieja, Bistec Encebollado, and Picadillo. Wash them down with
a chilled drink made right in front of your eyes at the Mojito
Bar. Finally, finish the meal with a savory slice of Tres Leches.

Our first stop is the Tavern on Rush for lunch. Following lunch
we will enjoy this Tony Award-winning masterpiece of
obsession, romance and the golden age of Hollywood. Starring
one of the most celebrated leading ladies of Chicago theatre,
Hollis Resnik will be making her Porchlight Music Theatre
