They were just four guys from Jersey, until they sang their very first note. They had a sound nobody had ever heard and the radio just couldn’t get enough of. Milwaukee Art Museum Thursday, April 18, 9:30 am, $35/$45 Non-Members Let’s head up to the Milwaukee Art Museum for a closer look at their latest exhibit: Bouguereau & America. The exhibit showcases paintings by the French academic painter William- Adolphe Bouguereau and explores the artist’s remarkable popularity throughout America’s Gilded Age. After the docent lead tour of the exhibition, we’ll be able to watch the wings of the museum flap at noon. Lunch at Café Calatrava and free time will follow. On the way home we’ll stop at Batches, a Milwaukee bakery, for a sweet treat. Dickinson Hall and Taste Buds in Bannockburn have teamed up to offer a solution! Join this class to learn to prepare a healthy dinner for one or two. This event is BYOB if you are interested in sipping while we simmer. Transportation is on your own, we will meet at Taste Buds.
