change over time and at Dickinson Hall we’ve teamed up with
instructors who focus on balance, flexibility, gentle cardio, and
overall strength. With our convenient FitPass you can pick and
choose when and which classes you attend, no obligation. Our
revamped fitness room is ready for you!
Meditation promotes health, wellness, creativity, and serenity.
Graceful moves center the body as well as energize us. This
class is low impact and may be done standing or sitting.

dance fitness class but have been too afraid to join? Lisa has
put together a shorter half-hour class to give you an
introduction to tap so you can see how much fun tap can be.

In a soothing and relaxed atmosphere, this class includes
gentle yoga movements along with breathing and relaxation
techniques practiced while sitting in a chair. Standing balance
poses using the chair for support are also incorporated into the
practice. Poses are adapted for physical limitations to deepen
flexibility, increase balance confidence, and strengthen body
and mind awareness.
Tap your way to great physical condition? You bet! The music
is fun and you’ll have a great time too. Dancers at all levels are
welcome to join in! Can’t make the first class? You can join
anytime!

This traditional yoga on a mat incorporates gentle movements
and modified poses using yoga blocks and straps to
accommodate a wide spectrum of body types and needs.
Poses help strengthen the body and increase range of motion,
while relaxation techniques help connect body, mind and spirit.

strength training, balance and stretch. The focus is to increase
our cardiovascular and muscular endurance as well as range of

Walk for Your Life Program
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8:45 am, Members Only
Walking is one of the best ways to improve your health! Join us
for a social outing and enjoy local parks, trails and
neighborhoods while you improve your fitness at the same
time. All you need is a good pair of walking/hiking shoes and
appropriate attire for the weather. Routes are emailed to the
group by Monday morning for the upcoming week. For more

T’ai Chi (FitPass)

Learn the art of T’ai Chi. T’ai Chi emphasizes the weight
transference to improve balance and body awareness. Its
relaxed, slow, graceful and precise body movements can
enhance the strength of body and clarity of mind.
