Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital! Calling 9-1-1 can be a scary
experience for anyone. Join us to hear some real life examples of
when and why to call 9-1-1, which decisions you can make and
which ones can be made on your behalf. Following, you will learn
practical strategies to reduce your risk of falls and how to
safety-proof your house, all for keeping yourself safe and sound!

Older adults might face new situations for which guidance would
be helpful, and their middle-aged children might benefit as they
assist older parents, or think ahead about their own futures. Our

Tim Macdonald and Jeremy Ward are a Scottish fiddle duo who
combine traditional fiddling with historical scholarship to create a
“cutting edge” musical experience that has been described as
anything from “metal” to “baroque.” Using historical instruments
and combining High Baroque compositions with high-energy dance
music, their 18th-century Scottish aesthetic brings a fresh
perspective to the tradition. Bring your own instrument! Following
the performance, Tim and Jeremy will lead a Scottish Jam Session.
