We are committed to your health & fitness. We strive to make your
exercise experience enjoyable and fun. There are programs for all
levels, from beginning to advanced students, to meet your
individual fitness needs.
*NEW* Dickinson FitPass
Participants can now purchase the convenient Dickinson FitPass or
Daily FitPass to use for most of our fitness classes. With a
Dickinson FitPass you can enjoy any or all of the classes at
Dickinson Hall. Find a favorite or mix it up, your choice. All
passes must be purchased prior to the beginning of class. See

FitPass programs include: Fit for Life, Bo Yoga,
Nia & T’ai Chi.
Regular registration will still be needed for Feldenkrais, Beginn ing
T’ai Chi, Introduction to Tap Dance & Tap Dance Fitness. Our
fitness room features a cushioned wood floor for maximum
comfort for joints. Our instructors are fitness specialists who take a
personal approach to work with you.

Join Instructor Judi Strange for a fabulous mix of fitness, fun and
friendship in an hour-long class consisting of cardio dance, strength
training, balance and stretch. Our focus will be to increase our
cardiovascular and muscular endurance as well as overall strength
and balance for improved flexibility, mobility, joint stability and
coordination. We’ll finish up the hour with a luxurious stretch. All
fitness levels welcome!
T’ai Chi (FitPass)
Tuesdays 1:00 - 2:00 pm
Join this relaxing class and enjoy the health benefits you can achieve
from this class, which bring mind and body together to reduce
stress.
*NEW* Bo Yoga (FitPass)
Wednesdays 9:00 - 10:00 am
Merilee Novinson’s Bo Yoga ® class blends the best of yoga,
qigong and mindfulness training. With the use of a balance bar
this class will improve alignment, leverage, stability and balance,
giving you the therapeutic benefits of yoga with less risk. Bo
Yoga ® is easy to learn and fun to practice. Please bring a yoga mat
and wear loose fitting clothes. This class is done barefoot or
wearing socks with grips. This class will be taught primarily in
standing and in some sitting positions.
*NEW* Nia (FitPass)
Thursdays 10:15 - 11:15 am
Join Hannah Judy Gretz as she teaches you the wonderful
workout known as “Nia.” Nia is a full body workout hat promotes
agility, flexibility, stability, and strength. Combining movements
and concepts from healing arts, dance arts and martial arts, Nia
offers traditional fitness benefits, cognitive growth and the fun of
moving to great music.
Feldenkrais

Balance is Dynamic! Join Joyce Ann OTR/L, GCFP to learn the
Feldenkrais Method ® which consists of gentle movements to
improve overall functioning, ease of movement, coordination,
flexibility, breathing fluidity and reduces stress and pain. This class
will be taught primarily in sitting and in some standing positions.

Join Lisa Jacobs as she teaches T’ai Chi, Joy through Movement.
Moving Meditation promotes health, wellness, creativity, and
serenity. Graceful moves center the body as well as energize us.
This class is low impact and may be done standing or sitting.
Introduction to Tap Dance

Have you always wondered what it would be like to join a tap
dance fitness class but have been too afraid to join? Instructor Lisa
Jacobs has put together a shorter half-hour class to give you an
introduction to tap so you can see how much fun tap can be.

Tap your way to great physical condition? You bet! The music is
fun and you’ll have a great time too. Dancers at all levels are
