floodlights of Boldmere St Michaels
Football Club’s immaculate pitch,
showcased their professionalism and
calibre to beat an enthusiastic AJ’s
Photography Select 11 - 7-0.
Match of the match Darren Byfield pro-
duced a Yaya Toure esque perform-
ance from the second half of the pitch
with two goals, including a solo effort
that would be fit to grace the back
pages of any newspaper.
Managed by Peter Withe, who consti-
tuted the most prestigious moment in
the history of Aston Villa Football Club
scoring the only goal in the 1982 Euro-
pean Cup Final against Bayern Mu-
nich, called upon one of his teammates
from that unforgettable night in Rotter-
dam, Pat Heard and former Aston Villa
and England International Tony Daley
and former Villa and Birmingham City
player Bobby Thomson to represent
Chris Heath.......
