ner and goal scorer Peter Withe's af-
fection with Knowle FC is both of
family and residential aspects. He wit-
nessed his sons (Jason, Stephen and
Gareth) showcase their footballing
pedigree at the club and residing in
the area whilst becoming a cult figure
in Aston Villa's prestigious history and

Behind closed doors football clubs experi-
ence a predominance of emotions. When
Storm Doris brought the country's entire
transportation system to a stand-still,
Knowle FC's lost a part of their coveted his-
tory. Since its inception in 1926 Knowle
Football Club has been a vital part of the
close-knit community of Solihull. Both enti-
ties’ affliction were of the utmost devastation
when the club suffered damages of up to
£30,000 in the midst of 90mph winds, exca-
vated into the club's metal clubhouse roof
into the surroundings of the next door's
cricket club.
