BRANCHES London A nostalgic evening, presented by Christopher Fifield, about the short life of Kathleen Ferrier was illustrated by various recordings. Christopher, who worked with Kathleen, told the story of her life, her artistry both on the piano and as a singer, catching the eyes and ears of the great musicians of her time. The Sherlock Holmes Walking Tour started in Bloomsbury and took in relevant sites which appeared in Conan Doyle’s books; characters such as Mrs Hilton Cubitt from “The Dancing Men” came alive.
