doing a monthly draw to win a year’s
free membership of every member
who successfully refers a friend! To
stand the best chance of winning,
make sure your name is listed
under ‘Reason for joining’ on their
application form.
Our branches are the strength of the
English-Speaking Union, enabling people
through the country to benefit from charitable
activities of the organisation.
It is vital to the future of the EnglishSpeaking Union that our branches continue

to come. Seeking to involve more people from
the local community is a great opportunity
to bring new energy and ideas, fresh projects
and enthusiastic volunteers into your branch.
Face to face recruitment by current members
has always been the most successful way
to get more people involved in your branch!
Each member can serve as an advocate
and strive to encourage friends and relatives
to visit the branch, and promote their club
within the local area.
