Re: Use screening guidelines to detect
significant hypoglycemia in infants

We recently read your article on the importance of
recognizing hypoglycemia in infants.
This article prompted us to think about the other end
of the spectrum—that is unrecognized or delayed recognition of hyperglycemia/diabetes in pediatric patients.
Unlike adult patients, in whom type 2 diabetes predominates and is usually gradual in onset, the majority
