Barsness Park City of Glenwood Barsness Park, located near the northeastern shore of Lake Minnewaska, offers one of the most scenic spots in Pope County. The 300-acre park, located on the southern edge of the City of Glenwood has a campground with full hook-ups, electrical hook-ups, shower facilities and tent sites. Many sites offer a view of Lake Minnewaska. There are four miles of hiking trails within the park and 150 acres is a wildlife preserve.
