TorreMirona Girona » TorreMirona Set in the heart of the picturesque Empordá region and not far from the magnificent Pyrenees mountains, which are often snow- capped in the winter month lies Torremirona Golf & Spa Resort. The resort includes a residential feel similar to large Spanish resorts like La Manga: a sports club with swimming pool, tennis courts, a fitness centre and a magnificent 18-hole golf course laid out across a sweeping valley and on the sides of surrounding hills. The golf course has plenty of water holes and is heavily bunkered; overall it is gently undulating and suitable for all categories of golfer. Torremirona was elected by the European Tour PGA for the prequalifying school in October 2003 and this is a great venue for golf tuition at its onsite driving range and golf school.
