Club De Golf El Saler Campo De Golf El Tejo Campo de Golf El Tejo is a 9-hole course with double teeing grounds, making it look like a regular 18-hole course. It is a difficult course, highly entertaining, thoroughly technical, and the irregularityof the terrain means that the ball makes unexpected bounces. The course is only watered with rainwater, making it look dry and the ball slide along the fairways at good speed, achieving better distances than those of a conventional grass course. All the vegetation here is native to the area. Playing at this course enables players to appreciate the differences between this kind of game and conventional grass courses. It has so many attractions that most players will not even see the AVE high speed train rushing by, as it runs parallel to the practice range. Balneario de Cofrentes This Pitch & Putt course was designed by historic figure in Spanish golf, Pepin Cabo and was host to the Senior Spanish Championship in 2009. It is located right in the middle of the Valle de Ayora-Cofrentes valley bordering Alicante, Muricia and Cuenca – with the course taking advantage of some of the most spectacular views of the Region of Valencia. This is a pleasant course, with double teeing grounds and a series of water hazards that contribute to the appeal of this layout. 94 Club De Golf El Saler Opened in 1968, this is one of designer Javier Arana’s masterpieces. Each day brings a new course, not only meaning difficulty lies precisely in the wind and depends greatly on it. There are 95 natural bunkers around the course, designed without any alterations by course designers. This is true Mediterranean vegetation, in an oasislike, protected nature reserve. The course record is still held by the German professional Bernhard Langer, who in the 1984 Spanish Open shot 62 strokes on way to victory. El Saler has hosted important national and international golf competitions in different categories, in particular the Spanish Open in 1984, 1989, 2001 and 2013, as well as the Seve Trophy in 2003. Some of the finest players in Europe have competed here and Seve Ballesteros was a firm admirer of El Saler golf course. Masía de las Estrellas Located only 17km from Manises airport in Valencia, Masía de las Estrellas is a great 9 Hole Pitch & Putt course that is charming but has tough & technical demands on all handicaps. The range is 250 metres long set amongst orange trees, olive trees and palms making the setting truly stunning. The real treasure of this course is something the player will never see, because it is all located in the subsoil. 80% of the water used for irrigation winds up in the large central lake, through a perfect drainage system from fairways and greens through a complex underground drainage system.
