It is important, as a teacher within a school that you are aware of your schools policy and its application. Understanding the technological changes that have taken place in society, helps develop an understanding of the changes needed in education to equip future students for living in their technological world. Work and home life are today fundamentally different to previous eras because of increased levels of interconnected technological innovation. Schools prepare young people for work and life in such a circumstance and thus it becomes imperative for teachers and schools to rethink their classroom work to embrace and exploit technology for student learning gain. Whilst a complex challenge, especially given the speed at which things are changing, teachers have to think about how technology can be harnessed for teaching effect when developing their classroom curriculum.
