Chairmaker Detail Design Solutions
‘Chairmaker’ chairs are the own brand of
CVOUK Ltd. These chairs and sofas are
meticulously hand-made in Sussex. Detail Design Solutions provides architectural
design services to small and large-scale
developers, private home owners and housing
associations in Edinburgh and across the UK.
The company has its own frame factory
where proper solid hardwood frames are
made. When finished the frames are passed
to the upholstery department where they will
be upholstered to perfection.
Working with both the trade and public all
products are made to order. You can either
supply or specify the fabric or leather. Found
in the finest venues and homes around the
world ‘Chairmaker’ chairs are simply stunning.
CVOUK also manufactures other brands and
a lot of totally bespoke pieces, they continue
to be the manufacturing solution for many
British designers.
Previous projects include a conversion of
an old railway arch in Edinburgh’s old town
into the Chophouse Restaurant (pictured);
conversion of an old milk handling depot
into a single residence over three levels;
and conversion of a large four-bed flat in
Edinburgh’s New Town into two highly-
desirable two-bed flats.

Whilst working mainly in the South-West of
England, I have also carried out many projects
in all areas of the UK including Manchester,
London and Bristol. My experience is
comprehensive and varied, and I have a large
portfolio of completed design schemes for
commercial and domestic interiors. Joelle Joy is a fine art photographer,
specializing in three-panel canvas art. She
creates unique home décor by capturing
nature from exotic locales.

furnishing industry I can manage all aspects
