Designed by Stirling Prize winning architectural
practice, Hodder+Partners, Cambridge Street
is a development of 282 residential apartments
within two towers, of 29 and 22 storeys, in a
prime location in the centre of Manchester. The
elevations of the buildings are complex and Astley
Facades turned to tremco illbruck to provide
waterproofing solutions for window and other
junctions.
Careful detailing around the windows was crucial;
the tremco illbruck specialists worked with both
Astley Facades and main contractor, Renaker
Build, to supply a range of compatible products
in order to create a seal between the high-
performance Velfac windows and the sheathing
board.
