Flair And Fresh Designs On
Show At Manchester
Summer will soon be upon us and The
Manchester Furniture Show, (17 - 19
July, Manchester Central), returns this
year with more exhibitors, more new
ranges and a summer feast of flair and
design.
After the success of last year’s show,
the main hall sold out quickly and the
exhibitor list is again full of some of
the leading names in furniture and
interior furnishings, including Baker,
Westbridge, Buoyant, Gallery Direct,
Lebus, Morris, Nolte, Kingstown,
Rauch, Furmanac, Wood Brothers and
Whitemeadow.
Returning exhibitors include Flintshire
based upholstery major Westbridge, who
operate from four production sites in
the UK. Sales Director Nicola Bell said
after the 2015 show “We were pleasantly
surprised to find that at the end of each
day we had taken more orders that the
same time last year! We had a great show
and it was good to see other new faces
there. We will be back next year!”
Also returning are German exhibitors
Rauch and Nolte Mobel who both
especially make designs for the UK
market. Both praised last years show and
instantly rebooked for 2016. Michael
Taterstall, Nolte Sales Director, said “We
are very pleased with the results of the
Show, it has been a well organised and
good Show to do and has a really nice
feel to it. Our stand has been very busy
with existing and new customers and
we’ll be back.’
New exhibitors include Essex
based leather and fabric upholstery
manufacturer Panacea, whose modern
designs won many fans at this year’s
January Furniture Show at the NEC.
Family business Hookes Interiors will
bring a wonderful array of their stylish,
unique and often alternative interior
furnishings, they are sure to grab
attention. Returning exhibitor Gallery
Direct will also have a wide variety
of stylish and design led furnishings,
together with new furniture ranges
which will be launched at Manchester.
Also returning are upholstery giants
Lebus and Buoyant who never fail to
disappointment with new designs and
colourful fabrics.
Furniture isn’t the only star of the
Manchester Show. Lighting, mirrors,
art, rugs, decorative accessories and soft
furnishings are all to be found in copious
amounts. Some of the most imaginative
accessory companies in the UK,
including DB Mirrors, Flair Rugs, Wire
Lamps and Wilde Java are all bringing
new designs to tempt buyers.

The award winning venue, the iconic
Manchester Central building; which
combines stunning Victorian architecture
with a relaxed atmosphere is also a big
feature of the event. This former central
rail station, with its spectacular arched
glazed roof, creates a unique show
experience for exhibitors and visitors
alike.
Show Director Laraine Janes says,
“There is always a nice relaxed buzz
about the Manchester Furniture Show,
but this year the anticipation of a great
show has started earlier. With the
Main Hall selling out so quickly and
some great new exhibitors joining the
already stellar exhibitor list, we are
looking forward to a busy show and an
abundance of new products that will be
irresistible to buyers.”
