Flair And Fresh Designs On Show At Manchester Summer will soon be upon us and The Manchester Furniture Show, (17 - 19 July, Manchester Central), returns this year with more exhibitors, more new ranges and a summer feast of flair and design. After the success of last year’s show, the main hall sold out quickly and the exhibitor list is again full of some of the leading names in furniture and interior furnishings, including Baker, Westbridge, Buoyant, Gallery Direct, Lebus, Morris, Nolte, Kingstown, Rauch, Furmanac, Wood Brothers and Whitemeadow. Returning exhibitors include Flintshire based upholstery major Westbridge, who operate from four production sites in the UK. Sales Director Nicola Bell said after the 2015 show “We were pleasantly surprised to find that at the end of each day we had taken more orders that the same time last year! We had a great show and it was good to see other new faces there. We will be back next year!” Also returning are German exhibitors Rauch and Nolte Mobel who both especially make designs for the UK market. Both praised last years show and instantly rebooked for 2016. Michael Taterstall, Nolte Sales Director, said “We are very pleased with the results of the Show, it has been a well organised and good Show to do and has a really nice feel to it. Our stand has been very busy with existing and new customers and we’ll be back.’ New exhibitors include Essex based leather and fabric upholstery manufacturer Panacea, whose modern designs won many fans at this year’s January Furniture Show at the NEC. Family business Hookes Interiors will bring a wonderful array of their stylish, unique and often alternative interior furnishings, they are sure to grab attention. Returning exhibitor Gallery Direct will also have a wide variety of stylish and design led furnishings, together with new furniture ranges which will be launched at Manchester. Also returning are upholstery giants Lebus and Buoyant who never fail to disappointment with new designs and colourful fabrics. Furniture isn’t the only star of the Manchester Show. Lighting, mirrors, art, rugs, decorative accessories and soft furnishings are all to be found in copious amounts. Some of the most imaginative accessory companies in the UK, including DB Mirrors, Flair Rugs, Wire Lamps and Wilde Java are all bringing new designs to tempt buyers. 56 The award winning venue, the iconic Manchester Central building; which combines stunning Victorian architecture with a relaxed atmosphere is also a big feature of the event. This former central rail station, with its spectacular arched glazed roof, creates a unique show experience for exhibitors and visitors alike. Show Director Laraine Janes says, “There is always a nice relaxed buzz about the Manchester Furniture Show, but this year the anticipation of a great show has started earlier.
