District Spotlight

LaGrone Advanced Technology Complex
The Advanced Technology Complex is dedicated to
providing students of Denton County with outstanding
career and technical educational opportunities. With more
than 30 pathways designed to help students enter the work
force and/or prepare them for their future education at
college, the ATC is not your average “high school.”
Instructors who are certified working professionals in
their industry or career field are dedicated to providing
students with a hands-on experience that will lead them to
nationally recognized certifications or professional licenses.
ATC students regularly test their creativity in unique
settings through culinary arts, engineering, architecture,
audio/video technology and many other technological
fields. And their work goes beyond the classroom as
well, with many of the school’s programs earning state
and national honors each year.
The school provides similar opportunities for younger
students too, offering summer camps focused on
robotics and technological career paths.
