Oftentimes dentists want to jump straight to what we know - treatment. However, they sometimes forget to listen to our patients or ask questions, and often, the patients aren’t ready to hear about treatment yet anyway. I suggest that the next time you discuss sleep disordered breathing with your patients, ask them questions first and make sure they’re ready to hear what you’re saying.
