O ver the past 20 years , Airway Management , has been known for two things ; our owner - the “ grandfather / cowboy of Dental Sleep Medicine ” – Dr . Keith Thornton , and our innovative technologies .
Dr . Thornton is a champion for his company , his products , and the Dental Sleep Medicine industry as a whole . His TRUE driving force is the desire to help every patient which inspires his designs . He strives to offer patients and providers viable treatment options while attempting to remove the vast barriers that the current standard of care has created . This passion is exemplified by the way he has treated his patients – “ no patient is left untreated .” He has been known to work through entire weekends or pull all-nighters to help patients who other doctors have cast aside as untreatable due to many severe comorbidities .

Our newest addition to the TAP Sleep Care System , the dream- TAP , maintains the strong core features of past TAP custom devices including single-point , midline adjustment , incremental patient-involved titration and 3 hook sizes for greater range of adjustment . In addition to the core features , dreamTAP boasts impressive new features like more tongue space and cobalt-chromium hardware . Feedback from our trial patients who have been long-term TAP users has been overwhelmingly positive . dreamTAP will officially be on the market in May 2016 and is pending Medicare coding under code , E0486 .
