HEARTLAND ASPHALT MATERIALS INCREASES EFFICIENCY EMPLOYEE NEWS The team at the Heartland Asphalt Materials New Madrid Terminal recently installed an additional emulsion loading rack. “We are excited about the installation of the additional emulsion loading rack,” states Kevin Faulkner (Plant Manager), “Now we can load cationic and anionic emulsions at the same time.” The installation will also allow small distributors to load when the transports have the load rack occupied, instead of having to wait for the transports to finish load out. CLINTON QUARRY REPLACES CRUSHER Artie Cousins (Plant Manager), Bruce Blair (Quarry Foreman), and the team at the Clinton Quarry have replaced the old Cedar Rapids 36x48 jaw crusher with a Lippman 30x42 jaw crusher. They look forward to less downtime and better production with this new addition to the plant. SAINT FRANCIS DEXTER HEALTH CAMPUS Construction of the new Dexter Health Campus has begun after delays due to weather and wet conditions. Brown Construction Co., Inc. of Dexter, Missouri, recently began utility and site work on the project. The Health Campus will be located at US Highway 60 Outer Road and Harris Drive in Dexter. The new facility will provide services including: cancer specialists, heart specialists, imaging capabilities, lab services, primary care, urgent care, outpatient rehabilitation, and Fitness Plus. Delta is supplying ready mix concrete and aggregate for construction of the new Health Campus.
