O
ur Soror of the Year Altoria White is a real jewel. A true
servant leader, she leads with compassion. As I stated at our
last chapter meeting of the year, she always conducts herself
in a manner consistent with our nine cardinal virtues. Altoria makes a constructive
contribution to the life and welfare of our chapter.
As our Journalist and ICT Chair she took over two positions and has led both with
excellence, also producing a phenomenal newsletter, which our regional team has
recognized at this year’s regional conference as “Newsletter of the Year.” Altoria is
also a member of the Regional Leadership Team.
Our Violet of the Year, Soror Jossie McCloud is always willing to serve. I am very
appreciative of her dedication to our chapter and the leadership qualities she
exemplifies through her undying support of JAC.
Our Committee of the Year, EMBODI, led by Sorors Kimberly Brooks-Hall and
Antoya Shuler continue to impress and grow this initiative year after year. The
success of this committee through their detailed program days to the inquiry of
innovative use for applications makes this committee truly remarkable.

Last but not least, our Preserving the Legacy Gravesite Unveiling was an awesome
event led by Soror Patricia Godboldt. You will find a detailed overview of this
