appy New Year!
“This is a day that the Lord had made” …
you know the rest. Now that 2017 has ended, did you review last
year in preparation for 2018? We all had some good things, some bad things, and ugly things,
and things that you are still not sure what pile it belongs to good, bad or ugly. It truly does not
matter--you must know that we have to let it go. We all have a past. The word “past” means
history. Just leave it there, especially if it is not something pleasant. Keep only those positive
memories that will help you through the unpleasant times that will surely come again.
In this new year try to do something positive each day. Our calendar for the remainder of the
sororal year will provide plenty of options. I would hope that we will see more of every one of
our over 300 members. We have so many opportunities to work our agenda, not only in the city
of Jacksonville but Tallahassee, Washington D.C. West Palm Beach, and finally we will end our
sororal year in Nashville, TN! I know you are aware of what I am talking about, because I know
you are reading every Midweek, every Southern Region communique, and every email from our
national headquarters (events are also pictured below!).
Congratulations again to our sorors that have taken those leadership positions at the Regional
and National levels. Are you ready for a Regional position? Please seek out our sorors who can
mentor and help you achieve your goals!
