s The Boardroom celebrates its 2nd anniversary and as 2015 draws to a close, there is much to be thankful for, and much to reflect upon. We have nearly 100 members and are increasingly fostering a community full of dynamic, visionary, creative, and innovative individuals.

This week, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) - a global management consulting firm - released its 10th annual listing of the world’s 50 Most Innovative Companies. The list is based on a survey of 1,500 C-suite executives, who were asked to rank companies across industries and within their own industry (without naming their own company). Additionally, forty percent of the ranking formula is dependent on a company’s total return to shareholders over the past five years. While I don’t completely agree with that part of the rubric (large dividends to shareholders are not necessarily equal to innovation), the list does provide valuable insight into global innovation.
