Epsilon adds direct access to cloud connectivity for Netrality Properties ’ customers with its CloudLX platform
Epsilon has executed a colocation agreement with Netrality Properties , installing and delivering its Cloud Link eXchange platform ( CloudLX ) at the Netrality Properties ’ 325 Hudson Street meet me room in New York City . Netrality Properties ’ customers now have direct access to CloudLX providing flexible and rapidly scalable cloud and Internet Exchange connectivity .
Through a single physical connection , Netrality Properties ’ network operator and enterprise customers can connect to CloudLX and access multiple cloud service providers , as well as leading Internet exchanges around the world . Customers will be able to use CloudLX ’ s selfservice portal to procure , manage and scale connectivity any time from any web browser .

MEDIAFILER SELECTS ITB2 ’ S DATA CENTRES IN THE NETHERLANDS TO COLOCATE ITS IT INFRASTRUCTURE
MediaFiler has selected ITB2 data centres in the Netherlands to collocate its IT infrastructure . MediaFiler has moved its IT assets to ITB2 ’ s NEN-7510 certified colocation data centre in Apeldoorn . NEN- 7510 is a standard for safe handling of data within healthcare .
MediaFiler is a Software-as-a-Service ( SaaS ) platform for centralised management of organisations ’ media files , known as a Media Asset Management ( MAM ) platform . On the MAM platform customers can store and retrieve files ranging from photos and videos to PDF files and corporate identity documents . MediaFiler delivers its services to organisations including universities , hospitals , municipalities , and energy companies .

Italtel ’ s transportable data centres used by NATO
Italtel has announced its transportable data centres at the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Italy ( NRDC – ITA ) have been used for the first time during the ‘ Summer Tempest - Eagle Meteor 2016 ’ training exercise .
The exercise , which brought together several armies from member countries of the Atlantic Alliance , was managed by the NRDC-ITA , stationed in Solbiate Olona . The aim of the exercise was to test the Readiness Action Plan which requires armed forces to rapidly demonstrate deployment capabilities in complex operational scenarios , for both conflict needs and peace support operations .
The high technological density of commands means increasingly sophisticated tools are needed to generate operational products and ensure commanders have adequate decision capacity . Interoperability is also essential , with the sophisticated ICT infrastructures mainly based on satellite transport networks with limited bandwidth but designed to deploy IT services at the highest level .
Italtel ’ s data centres were deployed at NRDC – ITA after it was awarded the tender for the project earlier this year . ‘ Summer Tempest - Eagle Meteor 2016 ’ saw them used for the first time across a difficult and varied territory , including mountain environment , hilly terrain , and flat and swampy ground .
