At a time when capital expenditure of any kind still raises an eyebrow or two , what do you do if your current data centre arrangements are reaching ‘ end of life ’? If you are of the mind that you want your systems and data within arm ’ s reach then for most IT directors the question is one of whether to invest in the latest technology with your own modular data centre build , refurbishment or upgrade , or to outsource IT to a cohosting company .
