Southco
Data Centre World stand E30
Southco will showcase a number of
innovations in the arena of physical rack level
security for data centre and IT infrastructure
on stand E30.
Making its DCW debut at the event,
Southco will take the opportunity to unveil
its hottest new products, including the
revolutionary H3-EM electronic locking
swing handle which now incorporates HID
iClass and Prox multi-card technology into
a single product. Employing energy efficient
microprocessor motor control and monitoring
technology, this latest product delivers
30
optimum reliability for users. The H3EM is an easy-to-install and integrate
physical security solution which can
utilise existing building security system
infrastructure and access management
credentials, representing the new
frontier in data centre security. The
event will see a purpose built data
centre erected using components
sourced from a select few of
exhibitors at the event, including the
H3-EM, offering the industry a sneak
preview of the product in action.
Also showcased will be a new
range of versatile security upgrade
kits and tools for existing multi-vendor
installations, minimising cost and
time of implementation.
Furthermore, as part of a
speaker presentation entitled
‘Locking out Human Error,
Locking in Compliance’, Steve
Spatig, general manager of
Southco Electronic Access
Solutions, will be exploring some of
the key issues around data centre
security, including the financial
implications of human error in data
centre security and ways in which
this can be minimised.
