4.3 REPLACING ROLLER FLEX COUPLER
1. Obtain a replacement coupler kit (#51192) from your
WeedRoller dealer.
2. Remove the 3/8 inch nuts that secure the roller tubes
and coupler. Separate tubes and remove existing coupler (Figure 14).
3. Push the new bushings into holes on one side of both
new flex coupler beltings. Align the bolt holes on the
two flex coupler beltings.
4.4 REPLACING THE GEARBOX
1. Remove roller tubes and seal cover.
2. Remove 1/4" x 1-1/2" screws (4) securing the pivot tube
weldment to the gearbox.
3. Install all replacement parts in correct order. (Figure 15)
4. Insert and tighten 1/4 x 1-1/2" screws (4) removed in
step 2.
4. Insert one bolt through both holes in flex coupler beltings; skip a hole, and insert another bolt.
5. Repeat step 4 until you have inserted four bolts in one
side. Insert the remaining bolts through the four open
holes on the opposite side on the flex coupler belting.
6. Place a new wear plate over the bolt ends on one side
of the flex coupler belting. Insert the bolt ends into the
bolt holes on one roller tube and secure with 3/8 inch
washers and nuts. Repeat to attach opposite coupler
side to remaining tube end.

4.5 INSTALL A NEW MAGNET
NOTE
1. Open the WeedRoller cover.
Check flex coupler drive head adapter bolts every 50
hours of operation for tightness. Failure to maintain
proper tightness may result in damage of components
and/or lost parts.
2. Loosen machine scre secured by locknut.
3. Snap magnet off magnet mount assembly.
4. Snap replacement magnet on magnet mount assembly.
5. Tighten locknut to secure machine screw.
